This handy component creates RSS feed URLs for content on your site - by Category.

One small step toward creating a type of article publishing in workflow in Joomla.

This hack of MyContent allows for this workflow process:

1. The Author can Add Articles, View their own articles and Edit their own articles - but NOT publish any articles
2. The Editor can Add Articles, View ALL articles, and Edit ALL articles - but NOT publish any articles.
3. The Publisher can Add Articles, View ALL articles, Edit ALL articles - AND publish ALL articles.

In addition, the author's name is displayed in the MyContent list.

Instructions:

1. Download the zip file

Within your Joomla Install - go to your_site/components/com_mycontent/

2. Be Safe: rename the mycontent.html.php to mycontent.html.php.save
3. Be Safe: rename the mycontent.php to mycontent.php.save
4. Upload the zip file to the: your_site/components/com_mycontent/ directory
5. Unpack it

Done.

NOTE: this modification has only been tested on Joomla 1.0.15.
