With CBP or Community Builder Personal-izer, you can insert custom CB fields into pages or content within your site.
Let say if you have defined a field in CB called "experience" or in the CB back end it shows the field name as:
cb_experience
Also, let say you have the user choose using a check box with the values of [ ] novice [ ] intermediate [ X ] advanced.
Then with CBP, you add this to your content (not the actual usage is modified so it doesn't load:
Hello there { cbp name }, because your experience is { cbp cb_experience }, you can get 25% off today's items.
Then the text becomes:
Hello there Bill, because your experience is advanced, you can get 25% off today's items.
