Removing Generated by Joomla |
If you view source on a Joomla site, you'll see a tag that the site was generated by Joomla.
It is great to give kudos to the team's great effort, but sometimes you may wish to hide it.
If for example, an exploit exists, and an hacker is looking for Joomla sites, they'll find your site with that meta tag in it.
It is simple to remove the tag.

On a site http://jonandlisah.org I tried to upgrade a component. I uninstalled the old one and tried to install the newer version. I've uploaded many components and modules to this site - so I wasn't ready for any problems.

How and where to change the article navigation prompts in Joomla (line 273 in english.php)
The <Prev and Next> navigation links at the bottom of a page are just okay. They aren't very people friendly. You can add your own NEXT/PREVIOUS text by editing the language file in Joomla.
For example, to change the bottom / standard <Prev and Next> text to display
<Read Previous Read Next>
Do the following...
