SOBI 2 - Sigsiu Online Business Index 2 is a directory component for the WCMS Mambo and Joomla! to show entries of companies, clubs, persons, shops, products, aso.

The entries are divided into categories, which can contain subcategories. One entry can be entered in up to five categories. The companies/clubs/persons enter themselves in the index. A security code (security image) is available for spam protection. Registered users can modify or delete their entries.

VirtueMart is no stand-alone script, but a Plug-in and requires the PHP Content Management System Joomla! (or Mambo). So you must install Joomla first, then VirtueMart. The only word of caution about VM is the support - it is done through forums and if you have a critical issue be prepared to wait.

If they have access to publish items, they publish content with one click from the mycontent list. It also allows users to create a content item for any section, instead of having to have multiple links from the usermenu. Publishers can view, publish and unpublish ALL content items. The current version of MyContent has 25 language translations!

JCE is a content editor for Joomla!, that provides you with a set of WYSIWYG editor tools that makes the job of writing articles for your Joomla! site a little bit easier.
